By tapping this label, you can filter and display only those news items labeled “Important.” This makes it easy to browse the highest-priority updates at a glance.
Tip: Some elements (e.g., AI Insight button or Important label) may appear only if the story meets certain criteria. The key elements—publication time, headline, AI summary, and token labels—are usually shown for all articles in the Summary Layout.
News Filters allow you to tailor the content displayed on your main news screen, helping you quickly find articles that match your interests. You can combine multiple filters—layout selection, sorting preferences, media choices, token focus, or quiz relevance—to create the perfect feed for your needs.

Displays each article with a short AI summary, publication time, and token labels. Great for users who want a quick snapshot of multiple stories.
Headline Layout

How to switch: Tap the Layout toggle or button. Choose whichever suits your preference.

Important

This is ideal if you want to quickly find high-impact or priority stories without scrolling through the entire feed.
Combine this option with other filters (e.g., specific media or tokens) to see only crucial news in your areas of interest.
3. Media Filter
Purpose: Limit your feed to selected news outlets (e.g., CoinDesk, Cointelegraph).
How it Works:
Tap “All Media” in the Filters panel.
Check the media sources you wish to include.
Uncheck those you don’t want to see.
Benefit: Allows you to get the depth of coverage you prefer without wading through every outlet.
Purpose: Focus on articles about certain cryptocurrencies or tokens (e.g., BTC, ETH, XRP, DOGE).
How it Works:
Find the “All Crypto” section in the Filters panel.
Select from a list of tokens.
Apply your selection to filter down to only news mentioning those tokens.
Usage Tips:
Perfect for users who actively trade or invest in specific cryptocurrencies.
Combining Filters: You can apply multiple filters simultaneously—e.g., Headline Layout + Latest + Specific Media + Specific Crypto—to create a highly targeted news stream. This can be useful if you follow several niche coins or prefer a particular set of news sources.
Saving Filter Preferences: Once saved, your feed automatically follows those criteria upon relaunching the app.
Filters Return No Results
You might be filtering out too many items. Try unchecking one or two categories to broaden your feed.
Can’t Find a Token
We only support tokens within the top 1,000 on CoinMarketCap. If your desired token isn’t listed, it may be outside our current coverage range.
Slow Layout Switch
Larger data loads or older devices can cause delays. Close and reopen the app if it becomes unresponsive.
Push Notifications vs. Filters
Filter settings usually affect only the in-app feed, not which push alerts you receive. To adjust notifications, go to More menu → Settings → Notification Settings.
Main News Screen
Look for a filter menu (e.g., a Latest/All Crypto) at the top of the news feed.
Tapping this opens a settings panel or dropdown where you can configure specific options.
Header
On desktop or larger screens, the interface might look different—for example, you might see a horizontally arranged toolbar with multiple toggles or expandable menus instead of a single dropdown.
The exact location and layout can vary depending on the device type, screen size, or platform.
By mastering these News Filters, you’ll spend less time scrolling through irrelevant content and more time focusing on the articles that truly matter to you.
Accessing Settings: Tap “More” (bottom navigation) → settings icon (top-right) → Notification Settings.
Categories:
Watch List: Alerts for tokens/coins you’ve added to your watch list.
Subscribed Media: Alerts for new content from your followed media outlets.

Enabling/Disabling Notifications: Use the toggle switch beside each category to turn alerts on or off, so you only receive the ones you find relevant.
